Empowering Goalies to Excel on the Ice
Team Practices, Private and Semi Private On Ice Training

A typical practice layout will be provided prior to practice so goalies know what to expect. Warmup and skill building drills will generally be the same as improvement requires repetition; however game situation drills will change to promote improved overall play depending on feedback from coaches, parents and of course, the goalie including individual parts of the game that need extra focus and learning how to play the situations that allow the goalie to get to the next level.
Hand Eye Training
Consistent hand eye training improves motor skills, reflexes and reaction time. All of which will help in stopping pucks. Ability to visually track the puck from the blade to the goalie is a main factor in making saves and having good rebound control. With basic to advanced drills we can work on, improve and master this part of the game from off the ice. Players can practice shooting and stick skills off the ice. Hand eye coordination is very important and something all goalies can control to work on and get better at off the ice.

Off Ice Training
With a degree in Kinesiology I can provide specialized and customized goalie specific workout programs and mental preparation techniques suitable for all ages and fitness levels that are individually tailored to the goalie. Programs are focused to work on game preparation, speed, agility, strength and improving overall athletic ability, as well as flexibility and injury prevention.

Video Analysis
I will review gameplay video (provided by team or parent) and give positive feedback as well as constructive improvements to work on at practice including tendencies during gameplay.

Season Packages
Weekly ~ Bi–Weekly ~ Monthly Ice Times – On ice training where we will go through the practice layout and work on recent situations that the goalies have seen in game play. For this to be beneficial at least 40 mins should be dedicated to the goalies with one end of the ice from the blue line in to train.
